The Winter Shelter Program is held annually to protect people experiencing homelessness during Los Angeles's colder months. Winter Shelters are located all across the County, and will be operating 24 hours a day.
People in need of transportation should go to 211la.org and use the chat feature to request a ride.

Shelters will follow new DPH guidelines regarding protocols for COVID-19 and Monkeypox to keep everyone healthy and safe on site.

Shelters welcome pets and emotional support animals.

Shelters serve 3 meals a day.
Meals at Weather-Activated shelters dependent on activation hours.

From any phone, dial 2-1-1 to be referred to a shelter location closest to you, by following these steps
- Press 4 for English
- When prompted, press 3 for Emergency Food or Shelter
- When prompted, press 2 for Emergency Shelter
- When prompted, press 1 for singles/couples without children seeking Winter Shelter
Pack your Bags
All shelters have a two (2) bag restriction. Anything more will not be allowed on the site.
