LA COC GENERAL MEETING
As the lead agency in the Los Angeles Continuum of Care (LA CoC), the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) is responsible for maintaining the LA CoC Governance Charter. LAHSA will host a hybrid (in-person and virtual) meeting of the CoC General Membership to approve the annual update to the LA CoC Governance Charter, as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The LA CoC Semi-Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

LA CoC Governance Charter
The current version of the LA CoC Governance Charter was last updated on December 13, 2023 and focused on clarifying roles and responsibilities for operating the LA CoC. Revisions for 2024 include minor corrections to formatting and select wording for accuracy, as well as updates to the appendix outlining the LA County Coordinated Entry System (CES) Policy Council Selection Process (notably term limits).

Public comment (CLOSED)
Per the amendment process as established in the LA CoC Governance Charter, all revisions and amendment(s) to this charter are required to be posted in writing for public review for a period of at least five (5) business days before action is taken.
The public comment period was open from November 5, 2024, until November 19, 2024, at 12 p.m. PST. A memo summarizing the public comment period can be found here.
