LA City & County experience record amounts of homelessness with thousands of youth and young adults in the streets, their cars, and in shelters - with a shortage of resources to house each youth living in an inhabitable situation. LA homeless services are for those currently experiencing homelessness in the LA region.

We recognize in nearby counties and regions there are young people who want to make LA their home. Included but certainly not limited to that population are young people fleeing unsafe situations. There are non-homeless service programs out there for young people that don’t involve touching LA’s emergency rehousing system, such as Job Corps, California Conservation Corps, educational institutions, and many other youth development or training programs with housing components.

For youth experiencing homelessness in areas outside of LA County please call 211 to check services in your community. For convenience, here is the contact information for nearby Cities and Counties.
