The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority hosts Quarterly Community meetings to deliver important updates on program funding, grant opportunities, performance measurement, and legislative and policy requirements. The meetings also allow us to work with our partners including City and County of Los Angeles, United Way, and others to provide important information to the community. In addition, we solicit feedback on the implementation and evaluation of Los Angeles Continuum of Care goals and requirements.

This meeting was held on Friday, October 30th, where almost 250 people from service providers, municipalities, homeless coalitions, and community residents interested in ending homelessness participated. The meeting focused on providing updates on the following topics:

  • LAHSA COVID-19 Recovery Plan
  • Project Roomkey Ramp Down
  • Housing Central Command
  • Overview of Judge Carter Actions
  • Legislative and Policies Updates
  • Homeless Count 2021
  • Funding Opportunities
