Every year, we count the number of people experiencing homelessness throughout the county through the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count. The Count helps us better understand homelessness in our region and direct resources where they’re needed most. We need thousands of volunteers to canvas more than 80 cities and 200 communities across LA County.

This year is no different. We’re looking to friends, old and new, to help us count our homeless neighbors. The 2020 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count will take place January 21-23. Sign up today at

  • January 21, 2020: San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys
  • January 22, 2020: West Los Angeles, Southeast Los Angeles, & the South Bay
  • January 23, 2020: Antelope Valley, Metro Los Angeles, and South Los Angeles

Already registered? Feel free to recruit your friends, family, and coworkers to join the Count!
