Leaseup Platform to Increase Access to LA County’s Rental Market

April 30, 2019

By Jennifer Lee, PATH

On November 30th, 2018, LeaseUp Los Angeles had its official kickoff event. Elected officials, community-based organizations, and PATH came together to celebrate the new Countywide Housing Location services and centralized LeaseUp platform. The platform, LeaseUp, is intended for service agency staff to access permanent housing opportunities for participants. This centralized platform helps providers save time in searching for landlords and units, as the LeaseUp team takes care of that process for them. This service provides landlords with the ongoing support they need, and community partners with more time to spend with participants. With the kickoff, landlords, tenants, and agencies all came together to discuss the importance of working as a community to support each other in ending homelessness.

On May 30th, LeaseUp will be partnering with local agencies and leaders to host a Landlord Engagement event at the Chimbole Cultural Center in Palmdale, CA.
