Winter Shelter Update—January 14, 2019

The following Winter Shelter Programs will extend their hours this week from 5 p.m. Monday, January 14 until 7 a.m. Friday, January 18:

SPA 1- Antelope Valley- Hope of the Valley
SPA 2- San Fernando Valley- Santa Clarita CDC
SPA 2- San Fernando Valley- Hope of the Valley
SPA 3- San Gabriel Valley- Volunteers of America
SPA 4- Metro Los Angeles- Weingart
SPA 4- Metro Los Angeles- Midnight Mission
SPA 5- West LA- First to Serve (West LA Armory)
SPA 6- South Los Angeles- Bethel Los Angeles CDC
SPA 6- South Los Angeles- Home at Last (men's shelter)- 5165 S. Vermont Ave., 90037
SPA 6- South Los Angeles- Home at Last (women's shelter)- 5500 S. Hoover Ave., 90037
SPA 6- South Los Angeles- Bryant Temple
SPA 8- South Bay- U.S. Vets

Augmented Winter Shelters:
SPA 3- Bassett Park will be utilized as a day and night (24-hr) shelter from 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 15 until 7 a.m. Friday, January 18. For additional information, call Volunteers of America at (909) 593-4796.
Transportation pick-up: Volunteers of America Access Center, 4501 Santa Anita Ave., El Monte, CA 91731. A 25-passenger red and white shuttle van will be at the pick-up location 5-5:30 p.m. to transport to Bassett Park.

SPA 5- Athens Park will be utilized as a day and night (24-hr) from 5 p.m. Monday, January 14 until 7 a.m. Friday, January 18.  For additional information, call First to Serve at (323) 758-4670
