Winter Shelter Hours Extended

UPDATE: The following sites will extend operations from 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 4 until 7 a.m. Friday, December 7:

• Bridge to Home-Santa Clarita
• Volunteers of America-Pomona
• Weingart Center-Skid Row
• First to Serve-West LA Armory
• Bethel AME-South Los Angeles
• Bryant Temple-South Los Angeles
• Home At Last-South Los Angeles

The Hope of the Valley shelter in Pacoima will operate from 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 4 until 7 a.m. on Thursday, December 6. Times are subject to change. Please call Hope of the Valley at (818) 527-5933 for more information.

We will also open Bassett Park, located at 510 N. Vineland Ave., La Puente 91746 at 5 p.m. tonight until Thursday, December 6 at 4 p.m. Please contact Volunteers of America-Pomona at (909) 594-4796 to inquire about transportation.

The 2018-2019 Winter Shelter Program began December 1. An updated list of shelter locations and transportation schedules can be accessed here.

About the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA): The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) is a joint powers authority of the city and county of Los Angeles, created in 1993 to address the problems of homelessness in Los Angeles County.
