  2. Calculate how many people reside in family and individual units.
    • Families: 0.3105 Cars X 2.957 (conversion factor for families) = 0.91815 persons
    • Individuals: 4.6895 Cars X 1.540 (conversion factor for individuals) = 7.22183 persons
  3. Add up to calculate the total number of persons residing in cars.

0.91815+7.22183 = 8.14 = 8 persons
