Through this solicitation, LAHSA is seeking to strengthen the Coordinated Entry System (CES) through the provision of training and technical assistance (TA) for community-based organizations to support the implementation of County of Los Angeles Homeless Initiative Strategy E7. This solicitation will create a list (“Academy”) of certified training vendors who are pre-qualified to support the professional development of the homeless services industry through training. No funding is awarded through this Request for Training Provider Qualifications - Centralized Training Academy (RTQ CTA).

The COVID-19 City of Los Angeles Tiny Home Village Interim Housing program will offer literally homeless participants, with a given priority to individuals who have been identified by Outreach (including Multi-disciplinary Teams (MDTs), LAHSA Homeless Engagement Teams, and LAHSA HOST Teams) to have resided near freeway underpasses and high-traffic ramps, access to a 24-hour crisis housing program that offers individuals a tiny home and connection to hygiene services, crisis intervention, meals, and case management. The Tiny Home Village Interim Housing program will be comprised of a community of temporary, individual, 64-square feet emergency cabins designed to house up to 2 individuals at a time. Each unit comes equipped with beds, storage, and connection to an HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system.
This RFI is open to qualified nonprofit organizations that are interested in Tiny Home Village Interim Housing services.
