HOW DO I ENROLL FOR TRAINING?
If you do not have one already, create a LAHSA site account using this link: https://www.lahsa.org/portal/user/create-account
Log in and go to the course catalog: https://www.lahsa.org/training/catalog
Pick a training course, date and time from the upcoming classes list for a training and click “Enroll” and then “Confirm”.
WHICH TRAINING SHOULD I ENROLL INTO?
First, please complete the HMIS 10 - HMIS Policies & Procedures Training. This quick, online-only course will introduce you to CES, and the policies governing the use of the Clarity HMIS database.
Then, there are three (3) different tracks for the Basic Navigation course - the HMIS 100 tracks have relatively the same content but have custom examples and scenarios specific to the track.
You only have to complete one of the following for access to the database:
Basic Navigation for Singles/Youth Providers – intended for those that work in programs that primarily serve individuals/youth
Basic Navigation for Family Providers – intended for those that primarily work part of the CES for Families (FSC) programs
Basic Navigation for Outreach – intended for those that primarily perform street outreach (ex. MDT, C3 and other Outreach teams)
Each track is available in two (2) different modes for your convenience, so enroll into the one that works for you.
Online interactive - easiest to take, at-your-pace videos and activities that walk you through the system
Instructor-led - come to our LAHSA training room for in-person training; limited to 30 per session

WHEN WILL I GET MY CLARITY HMIS ACCOUNT?
We process your completed training and provide your log-in information within 5 business days.
I AM UNABLE TO REGISTER. WHAT DO I DO?
If you are unable to register for a training course, be sure you have one here: https://www.lahsa.org/portal/user/create-account
Once an account is created, check your email for the confirmation link.
To activate your account you must click the confirmation link.
