HOW DO I ENROLL FOR TRAINING?
We have merged the old training website into the main site so that you can use the same login credential as “MyOrg”. To enroll:
If you do not have one already, create a LAHSA site account using this link: https://www.lahsa.org/portal/user/create-account
Log in and go to the course catalog: https://www.lahsa.org/training/catalog
Pick a training course, date and time from the upcoming classes list for a training and click “Enroll” and then “Confirm”. All community user trainings begin in May.
WHICH TRAINING SHOULD I ENROLL INTO?
There are three (3) different tracks for the “HMIS 100 Basic Navigation” on our new site. The tracks have the same content but have custom examples and scenarios specific to the track. You only have to enroll into one (1) training class to get your Clarity account in May.
Basic Navigation for Singles/Youth Providers – intended for those that work in programs that primarily serve individuals/youth
Basic Navigation for Family Providers – intended for those that primarily work part of the CES for Families (HFSS) programs
Basic Navigation for Outreach – intended for those that primarily do outreach on the street
Each track is available in three (3) different modes for your convenience, so enroll into the one that works for you.
Online interactive video - easiest to take, at-your-pace videos that walk you through the system
At LAHSA, instructor-led - come to our LAHSA training room for in-person training; limited to 30 per session
Off-site at various geographically distributed locations in our community, instructor-led - sites may be available in your area for in-person trainings; limited to up to 30 per session
We’re still working on confirming the available off-site locations and will be added by next week. They will specifically note which SPAs they’re in with addresses for ease of registering.
WHEN WILL I GET MY CLARITY ACCOUNT?
Everyone who currently uses Adsystech HMIS who attends training in May will receive account information by 5/15 (unless you go to a training after that date) from our training and support team.
I AM UNABLE TO LOG INTO THE SITE WITH MY TRAINING ACCOUNT. WHAT DO I DO?
We merged the training site account information to the main LAHSA site. This means that we’re using a single login for all things LAHSA site-related but you may need to re-register for a new account for the site. You can create one here: https://www.lahsa.org/portal/user/create-account
