Joint Statement From Peter Lynn, Executive Director Of The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, And Wendy Greuel, Chair Of The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority Commission, On The Approval Of Los Angeles County Measure H

Los Angeles, CA (March 8, 2017) - "We are tremendously grateful to the voters of Los Angeles County for their support of Measure H. Through this decisive action, they have demonstrated their profound commitment to end homelessness across our communities. We are eager to begin the work of determining how best to allocate the resources to reduce and end homelessness across the County. The passage of Measure H gives a tremendous boost to that effort."


The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority is a joint powers authority of the City and County of Los Angeles, created in 1993 to address the problems of homelessness in Los Angeles County. LAHSA is the lead agency in the HUD-funded Los Angeles Continuum of Care, and coordinates and manages more than $132 million annually in federal, state, county and city funds for programs providing shelter, housing and services to homeless persons.
