The 2007 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count enumerated homeless people in a sample of 505 of the 1,886 total valid tracts contained within the County's Continuum of Care. Using a correlation analysis, this number is projected to those census tracts that were not counted. This process develops the point-in-time and annual estimates for Los Angeles County, excluding the cities of Pasadena, Glendale, and Long Beach. Please note that The 2007 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count Report does not include the cities of Glendale, Long Beach, and Pasadena. All three cities conduct their own Homeless Counts.
