| Funding Opportunities LAHSA program funding is distributed through a competitive bid process. In response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) released by LAHSA, agencies may submit an application for funding to operate the specified program(s). Awards are made based upon the review and scoring criteria stated in the RFP. The LAHSA Board of Commissioners makes funding awards, after which annual contracts are negotiated with the successful bidders. The majority of RFPs for LAHSA programs are released on a three-year cycle. LAHSA FundingProfessional Services to Support the 2009 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count LAHSA is seeking creative consultant(s) to assist in developing cost-effective methods for developing estimates of homeless populations in our Continuum of Care. The information obtained during the enumeration must be able to be applied to smaller geographic areas while retaining high levels of integrity and applicability. Note: Prospective WSP proposers must attend the mandatory Proposers Conference & Conference Call on Friday, June 6, 2008. Proposers may elect to participate either by attending the Conference in person or by joining in the Conference Call. WSP Proposers Conference WSP Proposers Conference Call Upon request, sign language interpreters, materials in alternative formats and other accommodations are available to the public for LAHSA meetings. All requests for reasonable accommodations must be made at least three working days in advance of the scheduled meeting date. After the Proposers Conference & Conference Call, written questions regarding the RFP may be submitted by email until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. LAHSA will post the answers to all questions submitted by the deadline. Questions and Answers will be posted on this webpage by the close of business on June 13, 2008. ALL questions must be emailed to wsprfp@lahsa.org with “2008 - 2009 Winter Shelter Program RFP” in the subject line. LAHSA will not answer any questions received after the above-specified deadline or any questions submitted in a manner other than as instructed above. Oral comments or responses to inquiries shall not be binding. If it becomes necessary for LAHSA to revise any part of this RFP, or to provide additional information or clarification after the RFP is released, a written addendum will be sent to each recipient of record of this RFP.
