Funding Opportunities LAHSA Funding LAHSA program funding is distributed through a competitive bid process. In response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) released by LAHSA, agencies may submit an application for funding to operate the specified program(s). Awards are made based upon the review and scoring criteria stated in the RFP. The LAHSA Board of Commissioners makes funding awards, after which annual contracts are negotiated with the successful bidders. The majority of RFPs for LAHSA programs are released on a three-year cycle.

Attachment 9: Supplemental Resources Chart ♦ A mandatory Proposers’ Conference will take place at LAHSA’s offices on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 11AM (Pacific Standard Time). Participants may participate in person or via teleconference. Pre-registration is not required. The teleconference call in number is 1-800-693-8500, and the participant access code is 76582. Call-in participants are asked to please call in 15 minutes before the Proposers’ Conference is scheduled to begin to allow time to log-in all telephone participants. ♦ LAHSA will be hosting an in-depth Budget Preparation Seminar for all potential Proposers. Pre-Registration is not required. LAHSA WSP Budget Preparation Seminar Date: Thursday, August 12, 2010 10:00AM- 12:00PM Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority 453 S. Spring Street, 12th Floor, Los Angeles, California, 90013 The seminar will provide a forum for Program and Financial personnel to ask budgeting questions resulting from the Proposers’ Conference. Though this seminar is not mandatory, we recommend that proposers utilize this training to assist in their proposal preparation process. Parking is available in nearby lots. Parking validation will not be provided. Upon request, sign language interpreters, materials in alternative formats and other accommodations are available to the public for LAHSA meetings. All requests for reasonable accommodations must be made at least three working days in advance of the scheduled meeting date.
