Kerry Morrison was appointed by Mayor Villaraigosa to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority
Commission in 2011.
Kerry Morrison is the Executive Director of the Hollywood Property Owners Alliance – the
non-profit organization that manages both the Hollywood Entertainment District and the
Sunset & Vine Business Improvement District. Ms. Morrison holds a Bachelor’s degree in
Political Science from Santa Clara University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration
from USC. She is a graduate of Coro Southern California’s Fellowship Program in Public
Affairs and served on the board for over a decade. Ms. Morrison recently stepped down
after five years as chairman of the Hollywood Police Activities League (PAL) Board of
Directors, and serves on the Home for Good Business Task Force to End Homelessness, and
on the board at Social Services at Blessed Sacrament, Inc. which serves Hollywood’s
homeless neighbors. She is a founder of Hollywood 4WRD, a coalition organized to end
homelessness in Hollywood and serves as an elder at her church, Ecclesia Hollywood.
Morrison is a recipient of the Los Angeles Police Historical Society Jack Webb Award (2008),
the California Department of Justice Crime Prevention Community Partner of the Year Award
(2005), and the Los Angeles Police Commission Distinguished Civilian Service Medal (2005).
