Boundaries:  Los Angeles County Service Planning Area 2-San Fernando-is a large suburban area north of the Los Angeles Basin that includes sizable portions of the Angeles National Forest. Its eastern boundary runs through the Forest northwest of Lake Elizabeth, and extends along Sand Canyon Road through the eastern portion of the City of Santa Clarita. The border continues east along Forest Service Route 3N17, down Angeles Forest Highway, west to a line south of Big Tujunga Canyon Road, then south again along the border of the City of Pasadena. SPA 2’s western border is the Ventura County line. Its southern border runs parallel to the city limits of Glendale and Burbank along Mulholland Drive and Mulholland Highway, through state parkland and the Santa Monica Mountains.
