As part of the mission to end homelessness,
LAHSA will coordinate two events:

2007 Greater Los Angeles
Homeless Count

January 23rd, 24th, and 25th, 2007

Face-to-face surveys
of the homeless

February to April 2007

More than 1500 volunteers registered
Thank you!

*All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and attend one 90 minute training session.
Training will be held January 16-19, 2006 throughout LA County in the mornings, afternoons and evenings for your convenience.


The Homeless Count provides an assessment and reliable estimate of the current condition of Los Angeles County's homeless population. Information gathered from the Homeless Count will help government agencies and service providers by enhancing the understanding of homeless people throughout Los Angeles County. This data will be used to plan and implement effective services that will assist the efforts to end homelessness.
