Program Description:
Supportive Social Services program for disabled homeless persons residing in permanent housing units with rental assistance provided through the Shelter Plus Care Program.   Each participant will be screened as eligible by the Housing Authority for the City of Los Angeles.  All units will be located in the Central City East portion of downtown Los Angeles, in rehabilitated hotels owned by SRO Housing Corp. This funding will enable SRO Housing to hire new staff to address the multiple needs of homeless disabled persons. Specifically, 1FTE Clinician (LCSW or RN-Psych), five Service Coordinators (two senior) a Program Manger, and a Program Assistant.
