LAHSA manages a year-round planning process for the Los Angeles Continuum
of Care (LACofC). LAHSA collaborates with the City and County of Los
Angeles and other local governments that provide substantial funding to
programs for homeless individuals and families, including coordinating
specific Consolidated Planning and other strategic planning efforts.
Planning efforts are collaborative in nature, and designed to be
inclusive of both stakeholders and geography. Planning involves 34
governmental jurisdictions, 8 Service Planning Area (SPA) homeless
coalitions, service providers, faith-based organizations, businesses,
foundations, and consumers of homeless services.
